FlashForward 2004

FlashForward 2004

Hi everyone! Josh and I have just returned from another successful Flashforward. From the opening keynote to the annual film festival, this year's Flashforward certainly ranks among the best ever.

We'd like to take a moment to thank Kymberlee Weil, Lynda Weinman, Stewart McBride and everyone at Flashforward for being such great hosts. Our sessions went off without a hitch, and much of the credit goes to the great staff and organization that they've assembled.

It also goes without saying that it was great meeting all the speakers and guests of Flashforward. As Josh mentioned to me during the conference, the Flash community is one of the most open, engaging communities out there. The open exchange of ideas and solutions found at Flashforward is very inspiring.

Below you'll find summaries of both our sessions as well as accompanying files. If you attended Flashforward and caught our sessions, please feel free to drop us a line and give us feedback.

First off, I'd like to thank everyone for attending my workshop, I had a blast preparing the presentation, and, judging from your feedback, everyone really enjoyed it.

Presentation files:

All presentation files are FLA's only, substitute your own FLV files for video playback. Since many of the video files are operating off of specific points in the timeline, you'll need to adjust the code to compensate for your video. Email me with any questions or comments about the code. Also, keep in mind that these files were designed to play locally, so slower connections may experience some buffer issues with the larger FLV files in the SWFs. Thanks everyone!
