Lodestone Digital Adopts WebWare's TransMedia Express to Help Clients Migrate from QuarkXpress to InDesign

Charlotte, NC, December 12, 2003 – Lodestone Digital, a consulting and training company in the digital media development industry, announced today it will highlight INSCI's WebWare TransMedia ExpressT service as part of its comprehensive digital media workflow management solution for enterprise-level companies. The TransMedia service enables Adobe InDesign® desktop publishing software users to automate the conversion of their legacy QuarkXpress® documents into Adobe InDesign files.

The service is the latest milestone in a strategic partnership with WebWare, a product group of INSCI Corp. (OTCBB: INSS). Lodestone is incorporating WebWare's ActiveMediaT 5.0 digital asset management (DAM) product line with Lodestone Digital's extensive software expertise, creating a powerful way for clients to maximize the software and production elements that exist in their digital media environments.

TransMedia Express is offered in conjunction with ActiveMedia 5.0 installations or as a standalone service.

"Within our current client base, we're seeing a significant increase in Fortune 500 companies making the transition to Adobe InDesign," said Josh Cavalier, Lodestone president. "For many companies, QuarkXpress presents barriers in establishing effective production workflow. However, the required manual conversion of Quark to Adobe consumes valuable time and financial resources. The implementation of TransMedia Express through new capabilities within ActiveMedia helps us partially automate the conversion of large numbers of files in a short timeframe, while also creating a secure repository for the hundreds or even thousands of linked files and fonts."

The Lodestone process begins with careful assessment of the client's Quark library files to determine the compatibility and effectiveness of the conversion. Lodestone Digital then devises a workflow plan for efficiently completing the conversion. Lodestone also supports the client with InDesign training and other outsourced services to assist in completing the deployment process.

According to Carlos Montalvo, vice president of business development for INSCI, Lodestone Digital continues to enhance its value as a partner: "We're excited with Lodestone Digital's first-to-market support of the TransMedia Express conversion service. Their expertise with both Quark and InDesign, as well as their deep knowledge of digital media networks and workflow, provides WebWare with a strategic value-added partner. This partnership expands the opportunities for enterprises to have wider choices over the tools they use to create and manage content."

Lodestone Digital is offering TransMedia Express, and ActiveMedia 5.0, to its clients immediately.
